| ADMISSION TO M.D./M. S. COURSE |
| Candidates are eligible for entrance to these courses after completing internship. Admissions are made through U.P. State Post Graduate Medical Entrance Examination (UPPGMEE) for 50% seats of state and All India Post Graduate Medical Entrance Examination (AIPGMEE) conducted by All India Institute of Medical Sciences, New Delhi for 50% seats. Reservation of Seats(50% of UP state seats) for SC/ST /OBC is made according to U.P. government rules. |

| ADMISSION |
| The eligibility criteria are the same as for Doctor of Medicine (M.D.) and Master of Surgery (M. S.). |
| Admission is made through the U.P. State Post Graduate Medical Entrance Examination (U.P. PGMEE) & All India Postgraduate Medical Entrance Examination (AIPGMEE). Seats for PMS Doctors are filled by government of U.P. |

| COURSE CONTENT & STRUCTURE |
| All the diploma students are full time postgraduate students attached
to the concerned department. Duties & responsibilities are same as
M.D./M.S. students.

| EXAMINATION |
| Examination both written & clinical will be held at the end of the course.
Candidate will not be allowed to appear in the examination unless he/she
has attended 80% of lectures, demonstrations and clinical and prescribed
duration of stay in the department.
